MY LIFE TO DATE:

I took a break from blogging to assess my life and finalize my life plans and goals.

In life you choose your own destiny and path. Might as well make the best of it and live each moment to the fullest.  Each day should be a new adventure, a new smile, a new laugh, just a new everything. Just learn to embrace the new lessons as they come.

Sorry to say you can't live your life for others. Once you find out what truly makes you happy run with it.

I have reached that pinnacle point where I understand what and how I want to do things in my life.  Now that I understand these things it is easier to move forward with a smile and stress-free.

You have to embrace life as the cards are dealt and play a smart hand with the cards you hold in this game of daily living.

One Love...Hope this helps someone!!

HEALTHY TRIMS!!!

PLEASE DON'T FORGET THAT IT IS STILL MANDATORY TO GET YOUR ENDS TRIMMED ONCE A MONTH.

AS YOUR HAIR GETS LONGER YOU WILL THEN HAVE TO DECIDE HOW YOU WANT IT TRIMMED AND IN WHAT STATE TO GET IN TRIMMED IN.

I PREFER TO BLOW DRY AND PRESS MY HAIR OUT BEFORE GOING TO THE BEAUTY SHOP TO GET A TRIM.  I CHOOSE THIS METHOD SO I CAN SEE MY LENGTH PROGRESS AND BECAUSE I DON'T WEAR A FRO OFTEN SO I DON'T NEED IT SHAPED FOR NEATNESS.

PLEASE GET A TRIM AT THE LEAST ONCE EVERY 6 WEEKS.

Recommendations from Natural Hairstylist!!

Keep your refreshed in this summer heat with a  spray bottled filled with WATER. Misting the hair is recommended for rewetting the hair and restore life and moisture to hair in the dry/hot summer months.

Okay product update of things that I am using CURRENTLY!!

HEY HEY GIRLFRIENDS!!!!

I am updating you on the products that I am currently using in my daily hairstyling.

Note: I use a variety of products because my hair has it's own attitude ;-).

Carol's Daughter:
(This is a line of products that are staples in my collection.)
~Loc Butter: I use this to double-strand twist my hair or braids
~Mimosa Hair Honey: I use this as a moisturizer for any style I choose. Note: This may not be a product for someone with fine or soft hair. it may be a little too heavy with oil.
~Rosemary Mint Purifying Duo: Shampoo and Condition. I only use this when I have alot of product build up. Hair is always squeaky clean after use.
~Hair Balm: It's a good moisturizer!! LOVE IT but the bottle is small use sparingly.
NEW~ MONOI SHAMPOO/CONDITIONER (SULFATE-FREE): YES IT DOES LATHER. My hair feels so soft after using this product.

Miss Jessie's;
Curly Meringue: Lighter than its counterpart (the pudding). This is one of the best products at defining your curl pattern. My only con about this product is after styling and retouching my hair gets so tangled but for the outcome it produces something I can live with.
Curly Pudding: Slightly heavier than the meringue. Great for twist outs or shingling. Check missjessies.com for a video in shingling.

Sheamoisture:
NEW TO MY COLLECTION OF PRODUCTS:
~Organic Raw Shea Butter Deep Treatment Masque: Deep conditioner
~Coconut & Hibiscus Conditioning Curl & Style Milk
~Coconut & Hibiscus Conditioning Curl Smothie

APHOGEE:
These two products are things you should use on your one a month and opposite is each other followed by using the Balancing Conditioner:
~Two Step Protein Treatment
~Keratin 2 Minute Reconstructer
These two products will help restore and maintain your hairs elasticity, strength, and softness.

Don't forget about you daily scalp oils(example:Wild Growth Oil). They help keep your scalp and hair healthy and moisturized in it's natural state. Also don't forget your favorite pomade and I DO NOT RECOMMEND JAM or SMOOTH N SHINE.

If I forgot anything I will update this post.

I'm back Sorry for Abandoning you DEAR BLOG!!

Hey LADIES!!
